As President, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of CyberStaff America, Leslie P. Kalmus spends a significant part of his time managing vendor relationships and operations to produce economic results. Les experience spans over thirty-five years in business administration, finance and information technology and consulting services. Les has taken CyberStaff and it's relationship with Merrill Lynch to a Master Vendor status. For the past 2 years, CyberStaff has consistently been the #1 vendor for IT services with Merrill Lynch Fenner and Company. Formerly Vice President in the Client Technology Group of DowJones/Telerate, Les produced requirements and specification documentation as well as developed prototypes for global, firm-wide, customer entitlement control systems. This tied all Telerate products, network delivery systems and billing and accounting systems together for the first time. While at Telerate, Les also provided marketing direction to the Technical Development Group for product development, directed writing of functional requirements and specifications for those products scheduled for development or improvement. Prior to this, Les was the Vice President and Manager of the Professional Investors Trading Systems Department at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Les managed a budget of $6M and a staff of 45. He directed the implementation of an Equity Risk Management System and produced similar systems for Convertible Bond Trading, Government Trading and the Finance Desk. Les also had a distinguished career with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets. As a First Vice President of the Equity Trading Support Department, Les along with his team implemented a fully automatic online OTC system, which internalized order flow, for which he holds the patent. Other businesses include Odd Lot trading, Government Securities Pricing, Global Foreign Equity Trading, Corporate Bond Trading, Ticker Plant, Pricing Delivery and several large security information and price data bases. Les has a BA from City College of New York and attended NYU Graduate School of Business. |
