Mr. Stovall is VMD’s security practice lead, responsible for internal IT security and client deliverables on security projects. Mr. Stovall has over 15 years experience in Information Technology, specializing in Information Security since 2000. He is a subject matter expert in computer security, having both hands on and managerial experience in firewalls, IDSs, security policies and procedures, and Certification and Accreditation (C&A). He holds various technical and security certifications, including the CISSP and CAP, has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and is pursuing a Masters in Information Systems. He is also trained and certified in Computer Forensics. Mr. Stovall comes to VMD from Security First Consulting, where he was Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, responsible for all security consulting engagements and client deliverables. Prior to SFC, he was Director of Federal Security for Breakwater Security Associates, and worked at both private and non-profit firms such as Battelle, BlueStorm Consulting, and UUNet Technologies. |
