Les H. Ireland assumed the position of President - Europe/Middle East/Africa, within the Power Tools and Accessories Group, in January 2005. He was elected a Vice President of the Corporation in September 2000.
Before assuming his current operating position, Mr. Ireland served as Managing Director, Commercial Operations Europe from November 2001. From January to November 2001, he served as Vice President and General Manager DEWALT Professional Power Tools, North America. For a brief period previously, he was President Accessories. These three assignments were within the Power Tools and Accessories Group.
Prior to those assignments, Mr. Ireland was President of Price Pfister, the Corporation’s plumbing products business. He was promoted to that position in 1998 after having been Vice President, Sales. Previously, Mr. Ireland progressed through various sales positions in both the retail and industrial divisions of the Power Tools and Accessories Group. He was appointed DEWALT Area Manager in 1992, was later promoted to Director - Product Service and subsequently was named Vice President - Sales, Industry/Construction for North American Power Tools in 1997.
Mr. Ireland earned a B.S. degree in Business from Towson University in 1986. |
