Mr. Sorenson joined Allison-Williams in 1984 and has been involved in designing a variety of private placements and researching investment opportunities in high-yield fixed-income securities. He heads our Research and due diligence functions. His deal structuring and negotiation work has involved real estate based financing, asset securitization offerings, and private placement equity and debt transactions for medical device, high-tech, Internet-related, restaurant and elder care companies. Prior to his arrival at Allison-Williams Company, Mr. Sorenson was an economic research assistant at the University of Minnesota from 1978-81. He earned an MBA degree in finance from the University of Minnesota in 1984 and a BA degree in psychology from St. Olaf College (MN) in 1973. Mr. Sorenson was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1991. |
