Leonard Livschitz joined LedEngin in January 2007 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining LedEngin Mr. Livschitz held a position of Vice President of Sales responsible for worldwide LED sales in automotive market at Philips Lumileds Lighting. Prior to that role Mr. Livschitz held position of Director and then VP of Business Development. Since joining Lumileds Lighting in 2003 Mr. Livschitz, recognized industry Lighting expert, played an instrumental role driving exponential mid/high power LED adoption in automotive exterior lighting.
Prior to joining Lumileds Lighting Mr. Livschitz held numerous management positions at Ford Motor Company/ Visteon Corp in R&D, Product Development and Manufacturing. Mr. Livschitz spearheaded early market implementation of LED and Xenon (HID) lighting applications into the automotive market since mid-90's.
Mr. Livschitz received his Master's of Science degree in Systems and Control Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in 1994 and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kharkov State Polytechnic University, Ukraine in 1989. |
