Leonard (Len) Semon is the vice president of telecom professional services for Tekmark Global Solutions. In this capacity, he is responsible globally for the development of telecom solutions sales. This includes alliance relationship building, business partnerships, and opportunity realization, as well as oversight of outsourced field services solutions.
Mr. Semon’s career covers 40 years of global telecommunications experiences and spans positions from the field to the boardroom. He is experienced in consulting, planning, coordinating, implementing, supervising, directing, project and product managing. His domestic and international leadership assignments have earned him an extensive global telecommunications background with broad insight to structuring and managing network operations, customer care, work force management, operations, administration and maintenance of wireline, wireless, and data technologies. This experience includes hands-on structuring of joint ventures, leading build-operate, transfer initiatives, and launching partnerships.
For the last decade, both AT&T and Lucent Technologies have engaged Mr. Semon’s expertise at implementing start-up Network Operations Centers in more than 11 major projects worldwide, of which Mr. Semon commanded a lead role in the launch, operations, and/or directorship of the NOC, and personnel management. These opportunities have strengthened Mr. Semon’s conviction to achieving success, by facilitating and driving decision-making processes in multicultural environments, mediation of cross-organizational and political sensitivities, and through direct customer interfacing.
Mr. Semon has accrued extensive managerial and executive experience in program, project, and business management. He holds a master’s degree in project management and global business management from George Washington University. |
