Leonard Campanaro is a retired Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Armstrong World Industries, Inc., a building materials industry leader, serving as such from 2001 to 2004. In addition to the Financial function, he was also responsible for Environmental, Health & Safety and Shared Services, and was a member of the Retirement and Ethics Compliance Committees.
Prior to joining Armstrong in 2001, Mr. Campanaro served more than 20 years with Harsco Corporation, a $1.8 billion global industrial product and services leader with more diverse operations in more than 30 countries. During his tenure, Mr. Campanaro held various positions of increasing responsibility, including President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President. He also served on the company’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 2000. After serving as an officer in the Army’s Finance Corp, he joined Touche Ross & CO in 1972, rising to Audit Manager in the firm.
Mr. Campanaro is a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the School Board Insurance Company of Pennsylvania since 2005.
Mr. Campanaro earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Temple University in Philadelphia, and received is CPA certification for the state of Pennsylvania. |
