Mr. Selihar brings a wealth of experience in the industry and an extensive background in strategic marketing and commercial development to Cardiokine. Most recently, Len held the position of Vice President, Early Commercial Input and Emerging Franchises with the Pharmaceuticals Group Strategic Marketing of Johnson and Johnson. In that capacity, he was responsible for leading commercial assessments of potential licensing candidates and as a member of the Drug Evaluation Management Team he was charged with providing commercial input to R&D for early stage compounds across a variety of therapeutic areas. Prior to joining JNJ, Len held numerous positions of increasing responsibility during his 30 years in the industry at Pfizer/Pharmacia, GlaxoSmithKline, and Merck & Co. Inc. At Pharmacia, as Vice President, Commercial Development, Len was a key member of the Primary Care Development and Global Patent committees. Len was responsible for Global Strategic Marketing and commercial input to Licensing for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Products at GSK and while at Merck, Len held positions in field sales, Canadian and US line Marketing, Marketing Communications for MSD AgVet, and Global Strategic Marketing where he led the Worldwide introductions of Mevacor, Zocor and Proscar. |
