Lee has more than 28 years of business experience, including positions as a self-employed turnaround consultant, a Chief Operating Officer, and a Corporate Manager of Finance. He offers guidance to the distressed Tier I and II suppliers of automotive OEMs as well as troubled suppliers of goods and services in the non-automotive market. Professional Experience As Interim Controller for a troubled $40 million OEM supplier in a growing market niche, he helped find alternate financing sources that expanded business opportunities. As Chief Operating Officer and investor in a Tier two automotive OEM supplier of welding components, Lee led a marketing and operational turnaround of this non-ferrous forging and machining facility while minimizing automotive content. The result was 70% growth in semiconductor and superconductor markets. As President of his own consulting firm for more than eight years, Lee worked with owners of closely held manufacturing companies and CEOs of public firms to implement cost reduction, problem solving and restructuring programs. He assisted start-up companies and public companies (with revenues in excess of $4 billion) with due diligence, market and strategic analysis. He served as interim CFO and President for an array of automotive and non-automotive related businesses. Lee spent six years as Corporate Manager of Finance and Project Manager of a rapidly growing contract HVAC design and build firm. This company supplies systems to General Motor’s production facilities and large commercial sites. Lee directed the financial, treasury, and project management activities. He managed loan agreements, construction contracts and developed a corporate securities investment program for excess capital. This company was involved with Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport; Lee negotiated performance contracts and managed all engineering, cost and performance issues of complex variable air volume control systems.
