Born and raised in China, Lee Shea has lived and worked in the United States since 1985. He provides trade and cultural consulting services to U.S.-based companies doing business in China and is now offering similar services to Chinese companies seeking to do business in the United States.
In addition to his consulting services, Mr. Shea imports handcrafted hardwood furniture and home décor products from China and other Southeast Asian countries through his Silk Road Post Trading Company. He is also project manager for Marathon Tours, where he markets race events in China and seven other countries.
Prior to his current work, Mr. Shea was program development manager for more than a decade with Asia Holidays, where he marketed China as a major tourism destination to American customers.
Mr. Shea’s international business dealings have provided him with opportunities to travel extensively throughout China, the United States, and other parts of the world. His in-depth understanding of Chinese and U.S. business and culture, his fluency in Mandarin and English, and his strong sales and interpersonal skills allow him to help clients as they expand into new and unfamiliar markets.
