Lee Kolquist joined LSI in May 2002. His career in the financial services industry dates back to 1986 when he joined Stewart Associates, Inc. (SAI) as regional sales manager for its sales office in Minneapolis , Minnesota . In 1990, Kolquist relocated to SAI's home office in Elgin , Illinois , to become vice president of sales. From 1990 through 1998, Kolquist managed and directed its distribution system. Upon the sale of SAI in 1998 to a major insurance company, Kolquist became president of SAI until his departure in May 2002.
During the formative years of LSI, Kolquist was very involved as part of Stewart Associates in selling LSI's services. From May 2002 until October 2003, he served as vice president of corporate strategy, overseeing the human resources, accounting and finance departments, and developing and managing strategic alliance relationships. Today, Kolquist serves as president and chief executive officer of LSI. |
