Lee Greenhouse is president of Greenhouse Associates, a strategic consulting firm serving clients in publishing, media, online information services, and technology. He affiliated with CM&M in 1997. Lee has 25 years of experience in building, managing, and consulting on electronic information services. Prior to founding Greenhouse Associates in 1992, he built and ran information businesses for several major corporations. At E.F. Hutton & Company, Lee Greenhouse developed and launched Wall Street's first electronic brokerage service. At IMNET (a joint venture of IBM and Merrill Lynch), he managed the launch of a workstation using satellite delivery of data to money managers, brokers, and traders. He later developed strategies for Citicorp's entry into various financial information businesses, and then founded a business unit for Quotron Systems that brought trading systems to market. Lee also served as director of New Electronic Media for IDC/Link Resources, where he led a worldwide multi-client research and consulting program tracking business and consumer applications of new information technologies. He also served as a venture partner at Flatiron Partners, a venture capital firm focusing on Internet investments, and serves on the boards and advisory boards of several information and technology companies.
