Lee Ehrlichman is an experienced senior level executive with twenty two years of startup turnaround and growth experience in both high technology (embedded systems software and computer hardware) and medical devices/services. He led two turnarounds. As the CEO of a medical device/service company he led the company back to a restart and then from R&D status to an operational organization. Challenges overcome were; lack of capital need for development and execution of strategic and tactical plans repositioning company from device technology developer to medical service provider and conducted clinical trials for a Class III FDA 510 (k) submission clearance. He pioneered the use and reimbursement of outpatient cardiac telemetry monitoring and overcame Medicare and other insurance carrier's resistance to reimburse for services for this new technology.
As the CEO of a venture-backed embedded systems software company he successfully led the turnaround and growth of the Carnegie Mellon University spin-off without further cash infusions. The company was later sold to Texas Intruments.
Prior successes and experience include both domestic and international sales and marketing management in computer hardware and software including three years as part of a small team running a joint venture in Japan for a Fortune 500 computer manufacturer (Data General). |
