Dr. Billingsley has served as Vice President - Exploration since joining Abraxas in 1998. In 1983, Dr. Billingsley founded Sandia Oil & Gas Corp. and served as its President until Sandia merged into Abraxas in 1998. Prior to forming Sandia, Dr. Billingsley worked for Tenneco Oil Company and American Quasar Petroleum. Dr. Billingsley holds three degrees in Geology, Bachelor of Science and Doctorate from Texas A&M University and Master of Science from Colorado School of Mines. |
