Lee S. Bloom, CFA, is the managing director in charge of the Valuation and Financial Advisory practice for the Chicago office of Duff & Phelps, LLC. A principal of the firm, he has been with Duff & Phelps since 1983. Mr. Bloom is involved in all aspects of Duff & Phelps' financial advisory practice, including ERISA, valuation, and fairness opinion engagements. He has advised clients on debt and equity financings, corporate valuation matters, employee stock ownership leveraged buyout transactions, merger/acquisition analyses, venture capital projects, capital structure and dividend policy, and litigation support work. Typical assignments include structuring ESOP transactions, advising ERISA trustees on financial considerations in complex transactions, and serving as financial advisor to Boards of Directors in change-of-control transactions.
Mr. Bloom holds both an M.B.A. and a B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Registered Agent (NASD Series 7 and 63). Professional memberships include the Association of Investment Management and Research, the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago, the ESOP Association, and the Business Valuation Association. |
