With TCS, Dr. Ostroff has surveyed hundreds of healthcare facilities, and has trained thousands of health care professionals in the areas of safety, employee policies, infection control, and risk management. He presents regularly on these topics to regional and national groups, including the MGMA, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Yankee Dental Congress, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Professional Association of Healthcare Office Managers.
Dr. Ostroff practiced in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from 1977 to 1989. He has been a lecturer and Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University, College of Dentistry, Clinical Assistant Attending at Bellevue Hospital Center, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Instructor at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and has been a Certified Instructor of Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Ostroff received his professional training at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry and the Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He holds professional licenses in several states, including the District of Columbia, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and the North East Regional Board. Dr. Ostroff holds membership and served on the Board of Trustees for the Rockland County Dental Society, and is also a member of many other professional and scientific societies, including the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of the State of New York, and the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. |
