Experience:
Lee Rubin is a litigator who focuses on both civil and criminal defense. He joined Mayer Brown in 1997, initially practicing as a member of the firm's Washington, DC office and, since 2004, with its Palo Alto office.
Lee has an extensive and diverse background as a trial lawyer. He held positions as an Assistant United States Attorney with the US Attorney's Office in Washington, DC (1996-1997) and as a Special Assistant US Attorney (1995-1996). Earlier, he served as Trial Attorney with the Civil Rights Division of the US Department of Justice, first with the Division's Voting Section (1989-1992) and, from 1992 to 1995, with its Criminal Section.
