Lead counsel for a spring manufacturer in a non-compete action against a former employee. Obtained a consent order resolving the case and restraining the former employee from violating his non-compete agreement prior to the hearing on the motion for a preliminary injunction.
As lead counsel for an individual who was sued for allegedly violating a non-compete agreement, successfully argued for the denial of a motion for preliminary injunction attempting to preclude the individual from continuing to work.
Co-lead counsel for a watch manufacturer in a non-compete action against a former employee. Obtained a preliminary injunction against the former employee precluding the employee from working for his employer in violation of his non-compete agreement.
Lead Michigan counsel for a mortgage company in an action alleging trade secret violations and violations of non-compete agreements that was dismissed with prejudice.
Lead counsel for a health insurance company in an Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA") case. Motion for preliminary injunction successfully defeated after evidentiary hearing and briefing.
As lead counsel for an oral and maxillofacial surgical corporation, obtained summary judgment in arbitration on the sole claim brought against the corporation for breach of an employment agreement.
Lead counsel for Ford Motor Company in a multi-count employment discrimination action that was dismissed in its entirety by the Michigan Court of Appeals.
As co-lead counsel for Enterprise Leasing Company of Detroit in a class action alleging racial discrimination and retaliation, obtained the denial of class certification.
Co-lead counsel for Ford Motor Company in a tortious interference action in which summary judgment was granted prior to the close of discovery and was affirmed on appeal.
Lead counsel for a HVAC manufacturer in a products liability action that was successfully resolved short of trial.
Lead counsel for Ford Motor Company on CERCLA cost recovery and contribution action.
