Lee A. Sheridan is Vice President, Research and Development of ITW. Mr. Sheridan joined Signode in 1985 as Director of Research, managing technical development activities for plastic strapping, crystallized PET containers, and high strength structural plastics products. From 1987 to 1998 he was Director of ITW Materials Research and Development and was responsible for materials-related process and product development activities in support of all ITW divisions. Since 1999, he has directed the overall operation of the ITW Technology Center.
Prior to joining ITW, Mr. Sheridan was the Manager of Technical Development at Rubbermaid, Inc. and has also held positions at Amoco Chemicals Corporation. He has served on the Industrial Research Institute Board of Directors and as Subcommittee Chairman for Globalization of Research and Development.
Mr. Sheridan received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. |
