Ms. Fowler is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Group and based in the firm’s Denver office. Ms. Fowler’s practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate lending involving loan origination, mezzanine financing and CMBS securitization. She represents both financial institutions and borrowers on issues related to corporate finance, real estate acquisition and disposition, and leasing of office, retail and industrial properties. Ms. Fowler has represented a range of clients, including commercial real estate developers, conduit lenders and national commercial banking institutions. Representative transactions include a $120 million dollar refinancing project of a multi-state hotel portfolio; a $90 million senior and mezzanine acquisition loan secured by three major office properties in Colorado; a $211 million senior second mezzanine financing project secured by a mixed use retail/condominium development; issues surrounding construction, interim and permanent real estate loans secured by office, hotel, multifamily and retail properties; acquisition, financing and re-development of a retail-housing project for two national non-profit affordable housing developers; a $109 million refinancing project secured by a 41-property business park; construction loans and the closing of over $500 million in defeasance transactions in connection with the sale of a $2 billion real estate portfolio. Ms. Fowler has been practicing at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck since 1996 and has been a Shareholder since 2000. She currently serves on the firm’s Associate Committee. |
