As Chief Operating Officer of Development for Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, Mr. White is responsible for the staffing, design and implementation of the company's $5 billion development portfolio. He oversees offices in Boston, Providence, Yonkers, Durham and Nashville as well as the company headquarters in Baltimore. Current development includes Harbor Point, a 1.8 million square foot mixed-use development on 27 acres on the Baltimore Harbor now under construction with the first office building for Morgan Stanley, The Four Seasons Hotel and Urban Resort with 250 hotel rooms, 143 condos and a 550,000 square foot office building anchored by Legg Mason, the 1.1 million square foot, mixed-use 800 Aliceanna Street in Harbor East, the redevelopment of downtown Yonkers, New York with a projected 3 million square feet of retail, residential, hotel and office development, a 2.4 million square foot mixed use redevelopment of South West Waterfront in Washington, DC, and the redevelopment of over 3 million square feet in Providence. He is a member of the SBER Executive Committee and instrumental in managing the company's growth strategy. Prior to joining SBER, Mr. White served as the chairman of the Grand Traverse Commons Redevelopment Corporation managing the historic renovation of a 450,000 square foot former state hospital, and was a founding member and executive vice president of Hadid Development Companies in Rosslyn, Virginia, where they developed a $1 billion real estate portfolio with 43 projects over ten years in Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland and Colorado. He also ran his own company developing 278 affordable homes for first time home buyers with preferred financing and training programs sponsored by Anne Arundel County and Maryland State. |
