Mr Lawrence Gochberg, a native of Brooklyn New York, was raised in Stamford, CT and is a 1944 graduate of Stamford High School. Mr. Gochberg studied and received his LLB from George Washington University in Washington D.C. in 1951. During the 1950s, he served as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of Price Stabilization, was a Special Assistant to the Attorney General, and served as a Trial Attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington D.C. and in New York City. While serving with the Department of Justice, he represented the United States Government in many significant cases, including cases in the Supreme Court. As a result of his work, he was awarded with the Civil Service Rating of Outstanding.Since 1960, Mr. Gochberg has been engaged in private practice, and has argued cases in appellate courts in Connecticut as well as areas throughout the country including the State of Washington and the Virgin Islands. Mr Lawrence Gochberg lives and practices law in Stamford, Connecticut, and is a member of the Stamford and American Bar Associations. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for F.D. Rich Company, and is active in construction law matters. |
