Mr. Eagleburger is one of the United States leading experts in foreign policy and global diplomatic affairs. He is known throughout the world for his role during the Gulf War in the early 1990s and has remained a prominent government and private sector advisor in the Middle East over recent years. Mr. Eagleburger has nearly four decades of international political experience serving as the U.S. Secretary of State during President Bush's administration. He has also held the posts of Deputy Secretary of State, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, and U.S. Ambassador to Yugoslavia during the Carter and Reagan years.
Since leaving the U.S. State Department in 1993, Mr. Eagleburger has served as the senior foreign policy advisor for the Washington, D.C. based law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman and Caldwell. He is also currently Chairman of the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims in Washington, D.C. Mr. Eagleburger holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin. |
