Lawrence T. Babbio, Jr., served as Vice Chairman and President of Verizon, with overall responsibility for the company's enterprise and domestic wireline businesses including retail markets, long distance, FiOS data and television services, information technology, procurement services and technology research through April 30, 2007. Mr. Babbio is a member of the Board of Directors of Verizon Wireless. Previously, Mr. Babbio was Vice Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer for Bell Atlantic, where he also served as Chairman of the company's Global Wireless Unit. |
