Lawrence R. Jurcich (Larry) is the Vice President and General Manager for the Information Assurance and Engineering Division (IAED). The division provides information assurance solutions to government agencies with a focus on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Security Operations activities, FISMA compliance and Security Training.
Mr. Jurcich, a graduate of the American University and a veteran of the armed forces, is married and the father of three children. He has 27 years federal government experience: 18 years with U. S. Secret Service (USSS), 7 years at the White House (WH), 3 years with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and the last 6 years in private industry. He has technical and/or managerial experience most areas of Information Technology and has spent most of his career running Information Technology modernization programs.
At the Secret Service, Mr. Jurcich held various technical and managerial positions in Information Technology and directed a modernization program that replaced the wide area network, mainframe and desktop platforms.
At the White House, Mr. Jurcich was the Information Security Officer for the Executive Office of the President and directed a program to replace the White House telephone system and in the process displaced a Bell Atlantic central office.
At ATF, Mr. Jurcich was the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) and Manager of the Information Services Division (ISD). He designed and implemented the Enterprise System Architecture (ESA), an information technology modernization program. The acquisition concept for achieving ESA was Seat Management. He was the architect of the Seat Management program at ATF. Reportedly, this was the first Seat Management contract award in the Federal Government. |
