Lawrence Johnson is President and Founder of LJA. He has over 25 years of tax experience, of which the last 20 have concentrated on qualified retirement plans. A nationally recognized expert in retirement plan design and administration, Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in IRS compliance issues, IRS and DOL audits, and fiduciary responsibilities and issues.
Mr. Johnson is a frequent author and lecturer on the subject of qualified retirement plans and has been quoted in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, 401(k) Wire and Kiplinger Letter.
Mr. Johnson serves on the Tax Committee of the San Francisco Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants; the Pension Advisory Board to Charles Schwab and Company; the U.C. Berkeley Foundation Board of Trustees; and the Investment Committee Ð U.C. Berkeley Foundation. He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
