Lawrence E. Walsh serves as of counsel, retired, for Crowe & Dunlevy in Oklahoma City. A successful prosecutor and corporate lawyer, Mr. Walsh is perhaps best known for his service as a court-appointed independent counsel for the Iran-Contra investigation from 1986 to 1993. He brings over 70 years of experience to the corporation, and is the author of several books, including The Gift of Insecurity: A Lawyer’s Life, and Iran-Contra: The Final Report. Among other titles, Mr. Walsh has served as counsel for the governor of New York, as well as Deputy Attorney General for the United States. He is a member of seven professional associations, including the American Bar Association, the American Judicature Society, and the American Law Institute. Among his distinctions, Mr. Walsh is a trustee emeritus from his alma mater at Columbia University and Law School (A.B., 1932; LL.B., 1935), and has been awarded with honorary Legum Doctorates by Union University, St. John’s University, and Vermont Law School.
