Lawrence E. Milhouse, Jr. (Larry) continued a tradition in the accounting industry that was passed down from his father Lawrence E. Milhouse, Sr. who began his public accounting career in St. Louis in 1920. In 1927 Mr. Milhouse, Sr. was admitted to the Missouri Bar... becoming one of the earliest dual profession Attorney/CPA's in our State.Larry graduated from Washington University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. He served a three year apprenticeship under his father after graduation and received his CPA certificate in 1960. Larry spent his entire CPA career serving private enterprise in the St. Louis metropolitan area culminating in the formation of Milhouse & Neal, LLP in 1985.Since his retirement in 1998, Larry spends a lot of his time as an active volunteer in his community and serves on his church board. He enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his eight grandchildren. We are grateful for Larry's past leadership and vision that has made Milhouse & Neal not only one of the best places to work in St. Louis, but an acknowledged professional services firm built on integrity. |
