Lawrence Writer is a Vice President focused on U.S. high yield opportunities in the telecom & media and technology & business sectors. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Writer was an Associate in the Financing Group at Goldman Sachs where he focused on structuring financing transactions, special situations and portfolio management. Prior to that, he was a trader at Wells Fargo Bank focused on emerging markets.
Mr. Writer received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and an M.A. in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degrees in economics and international studies from the Jackson School at the University of Washington in Seattle. |
