Laurie Milleman is Senior Managing Director and Chief Accounting Officer for Countrywide Financial Corporation, (NYSE: CFC), a diversified financial services provider and member of the S&P 500.
Milleman oversees corporate accounting functions, including external reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Reserve. She is also responsible for providing accounting guidance to business units throughout the organization. In addition, she works closely with the Investor Relations department to ensure appropriate reporting to the investor community. Milleman joined Countrywide in 1989 as Budget Director, and has held a variety of executive management positions during her tenure.
Prior to joining Countrywide, Milleman worked for seven years at a big five accounting firm. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University, Northridge. A Certified Public Accountant, Milleman is an active member of the Financial Management Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association. |
