Laurie M. Braun, senior accountant, joined Rea & Associates’ Willoughby Hills office in 2006. She previously spent eight years at Lynch, Anselmo, Ott, Bryan + Company. Mrs. Braun is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and is the secretary of the Northern Ohio chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Mrs. Braun was the Lynch Employee of the Year for 2002 and 2004 and won the Silver Quill award in 2005. At Rea, she is responsible for compilation and review engagements, personal and corporate tax planning and fraud engagements. Mrs. Braun holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Ursuline College and also holds teaching certificates in elementary education and special education. She received her financial accounting certificate from Lakeland Community College. A native of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, she currently lives in South Euclid, Ohio, where she enjoys reading, quilting, gardening and rowing with the Sister Crew, a rowing team with the Western Reserve Rowing Association. She has two adult children. |
