Laurie Hunsicker is a managing director at FBR, where she leads the research team responsible for detailed analysis of community banks and thrifts. Ms. Hunsicker has approximately 15 years of experience in the securities industry and is frequently quoted in the financial press, including American Banker, Buyside Magazine, Financial World, Forbes, Investor’s Business Daily and SNL Bank & Thrift Daily.
She has been a contributing author to American Community Banker’s magazine and CBANYS Chronicle magazine. Additionally, Ms. Hunsicker is a regular guest lecturer on finance, and investing and understanding the stock market, in the Introduction to Business/Business Management & Administration class at Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
