Laurence M. McHeffey is a graduate of Boston College (B.A. 1968) and Seton Hall University (Juris Doctorate 1971). He is admitted to the bars of Colorado, New Jersey, New York, District of Columbia, United States District Courts for the Districts of New Jersey and the Eastern District of New York, Colorado, and the Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal. He has devoted his legal career to a wide range of litigation including insurance coverage, products liability, professional liability, toxic torts, environmental, and commercial claims. He has defended numerous multi-party insurance coverage cases. He also served as a trustee of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey from 1981 until 1993. Before joining this firm, he was a partner in the New York and New Jersey firm of Hanlon, McHeffey, Herzfeld & Rubin from 1975 to 1989. Mr. McHeffey has also been named as a Super Lawyer in Colorado for 2008 and is a residing managing partner for the firm's Denver, Colorado office. |
