Larry has been with Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd., since 1981, and became a director in 1991. He has nearly 25 years of experience providing accounting, tax, and business consulting services for business owners in various industries, including not-for-profit, medical, and others. Larry is one of the directors in charge of our not-for-profit auditing and accounting services team. As such, he has been responsible for the financial statement audits and other related activities of numerous not-for-profit organizations.
Larry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), and the National Society of Public Accountants. He serves on the ICPAS Accounting Principles Committee, as well as the Finance Committee of the United Way Crusade of Mercy. Larry is a board member and former president of the Wheeling/Buffalo Grove United Way, and was a board member of the United Way of Suburban Chicago. He was also a member of the Finance Committee of the United Way in Chicago. Larry is a member of the BKR International Government and Not-For-Profit Accounting and Auditing Committee, and was also a member of the Executive Committee of Accountants' Division for the Jewish United Fund. Larry earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, and he holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. |
