I joined Bayview for the opportunity to join a company that was growing and that would provide me the chance to work on re-branding. Unlike other companies, Bayview is relatively new with a lot of opportunities to create new things. A lot of things aren't developed yet and that will allow me to participate at the beginning in the creation of new products and services. During the time I've been here I've come to enjoy the people and the challenges that have been presented to me. People are friendly, they're courteous and considerate. The environment is very positive, there's a lot of teamwork, people make an effort to get along and support each other. The key thing that will keep me here is that the environment allows me to do my best work, more so than anywhere else. The way the teams work together combined with the leadership style, these are critical to allowing us to do our best work. Respect for time, working reasonable hours with reasonable goals really helps, it's very important to me. I have great projects; everyday is fun because there are new and challenging projects to handle. For such a large company, everything is very connected. It's very flexible, other companies stifle you with rules that don't add anything or make you more productive. Theres more respect for people here, I get a sense that there's a better work-life balance. |
