Laureen Jandroep, OTR, CPC, CCS-P, CPC-H, CCS, CPC-EMS, RCC joined CodeRyte, Inc. as a coding analyst in January 2006 bringing with her over 20 years in the healthcare field. Prior to joining CodeRyte she founded and directed the CRN Institute a division of the Coding & Reimbursement Network, Inc. where she created, delivered, and managed coding certification courses and continuing education telewebinars as well as performing chart audits and general consulting services.Prior to her coding career Ms. Jandroep ran a successful therapy practice, which did over 1.6 million in billing per year with a less than .06% rejection rate. She founded the Southern Jersey Chapter of the AAPC in 1999 and is a current officer. She also served on the AAPC National Advisory board from 2003 - 2006 in addition to being a consulting editor for several "Coding Alert" publications for the Coding Institute.She provides workshops and presents in the New Jersey and Philadelphia area in addition to speaking for national organizations such as the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA), and the Professional Association of Healthcare Coding Specialists (PAHCS). Her clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist and her management experience in owning and running a therapy practice combined with her knowledge of the medical coding and reimbursement industry is a great value for the CodeRyte clients she supports in her role as their coding analyst. |
