Laura Musfeldt, Senior Associate, joined Kincannon and Reed in 2004. She brings senior level experience in executive search for healthcare organizations. As the principal of Executive Strategies, she led organizations in the development and execution of retained executive level searches and designed retention and mentoring programs. She has provided consulting in labor relations and assisted executive teams in union avoidance strategies. As the Vice President of Executive Search for Management Science Associates Inc, a healthcare human resource-consulting firm, she led this organization’s retained search business for a large national client base. Clients included large multi facility hospital organizations, healthcare corporations, and world recognized teaching institutions. During her tenure she provided special expertise to clients in the selection of leaders related to mergers, acquisition or consolidation within their organizations. Other search activities included restructuring of departments and recruitment of specific credentials and talents for clinical business centers. Physician recruitment for managed care organizations and medical service executives is also part of her experience. She has expertise in the use of leadership assessments and clients have built exceptionally successful teams with her direction .Her career has developed through long term partnerships with clients by providing dedicated, attentive and personalized service. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau , Nursing Honor Society. As a Captain in the Air Force Reserve she served as a flight nurse in an Air Evacuation Unit. |
