Laura assists publicly traded, privately held and government entities in a wide range of business disputes. She works with clients to develop strategies for the resolution of complex and diverse legal matters, including construction, corporate governance, business tort and contract matters. Laura is a member of the firm’s Litigation group and is also active in the Construction, and Federal Government Contract and Agency Regulation groups. Laura is a 2003 graduate of The George Washington University School of Law, with honors, and received her master’s in Evaluative Clinical Sciences from Dartmouth College in 1997. Prior to law school, she spent three years with the federal government as a Program Analyst in the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services overseeing federal health programs, and was a key member of a team that issued a series of reports on the oversight of clinical research. Before joining Calfee in 2005, she served as an intern in the legal department of a professional football club. |
