Laura and Al moved to Florida from Rhode Island in 1987. In 1993, their son, Alexander was born. Laura has been in the commercial real estate business for over 15 years. She specializes in office leasing and property management.
Throughout her career, she has advanced to more responsible positions through tenacity, hard work, and education. She obtained a BS degree in business management from Johnson & Wales University in 1986 while working full-time and attending college in the evening. She began her career working with a "Big Eight" accounting firm, which gave her the discipline and skills to excel in many financial and managerial positions. She has worked as a bookkeeper, executive suite manager, auditor, and property manager in the real estate industry.
Laura came to work for Klein & Heuchan. Inc., in 1995. She manages and leases two office buildings in the Countryside area comprised of 140,000 square feet. She is responsible for the day-to-day activities, supervision of the financial management, contract and lease administration, negotiations of leases, renewals and expansions, overseeing the maintenance staff, construction of capital projects, and tenant improvements. Laura is a member of the FL Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors and is a current RPA candidate at Building Owners/Managers Institute (Bomi). |
