Ms. Agapay s work includes hourly building energy simulation modeling, cost-effectiveness analysis of energy efficiency and demand response measures, DSM benchmarking and best practice research, and integrated resource planning. Recent project experience includes: Completing a survey of commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs for Kansas City Power & Light to benchmark typical and exemplary program impacts and costs and to identify best practices of top performers. The research involved a national and regional analysis of energy services programs. Conducting DSM potential for Nebraska Public Power District. This included identifying DSM measures with the greatest potential for cost-effective energy conservation and peak demand savings specific to NPPD s service territory and each customer sector by running hourly building energy simulation modeling, applying economic and technical potential analyses, and computing the four standard benefit-cost tests, including the Total Resource Cost test. Compiled DSM scenarios for an integrated resource plan for Xcel Energy in Minnesota. Developed sampling guidelines for regulated audits of commercial and industrial participants of custom DSM programs for Union Gas to increase audit accuracy while minimizing audit costs. Before joining Summit Blue Ms. Agapay served as Senior Project Coordinator of Information Systems at the University of Illinois at Chicago and was a consultant with Andersen Consulting. Ms. Agapay holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and a MA in Linguistics from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. |
