A member of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Sports Medicine Center, Dr. Alberton received her medical degree from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. She conducted a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic and a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of California San Francisco. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Alberton is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She has published articles on a variety of topics and conducted presentations at sports medicine conferences on ACL injuries in women and Achilles tendon injury and repair. Dr. Alberton has special clinical interest in treating knee and shoulder sports injuries. She has had advanced training and experience in shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery. |
