Laura McPhie Oliveira consults directly from her post as vice president for enrollment management at Salve Regina University (RI). As a consultant for Noel-Levitz, she offers over 20 years of admissions, marketing and financial aid experience and a proven track record for getting results.
At Salve Regina, Ms. McPhie Oliveira oversees admissions, financial aid, career development, and retention statistics. Under her leadership, applications have more than tripled, the university has enrolled record freshman classes, improved diversity, and incoming students’ average SAT scores have increased by more than 170 points. Her previous positions include director of admissions at Pine Manor College (MA) and partnership in MM&L Consulting of Boston.
Publications, associations, and education: Active at the national level, Ms. McPhie Oliveira has published articles in educational journals and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences. Ms. McPhie Oliveira currently serves on the Governing Boards of the National Catholic College Admissions Association and the New England Association of College Admissions Counselors. She has also served on the Regional Council of the New England Office of the College Board. She has also presented at The Boston Globe College Workshops and served as a college counselor for students serving in Boston's City Year program.
