Mrs. Lauder joined Spark Networks in January 2005 as a member of our Board of Directors. Mrs. Lauder has served as a General Partner at Lauder Partners, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund, for the past ten years. At Lauder Partners, Mrs. Lauder focuses primarily on Internet and cable-related investments. In addition to her work at Lauder Partners, Mrs. Lauder is involved in a variety of philanthropic initiatives, particularly in the Jewish community. In the past, she has served on the Boards of numerous organizations, including the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation and its Endowment Committee, the Jewish Education Service of North America, the Jewish Funders Network, American Jewish World Service and the National Public Radio Foundation. In 2004, Mrs. Lauder was named one of "10 Women to Watch" by Jewish Woman magazine. Mrs. Lauder earned a BA in International Relations from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. |
