Ms. Ringenbach, of counsel in the law firm of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, earned a Master of Science degree in environmental science from the University of Cincinnati, and received her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Ms. Ringenbach worked for the U.S. EPA Solid & Hazardous Waste Research Division and Health Effects Research Laboratory from 1976 to 1980. She also served as law clerk for the Honorable Carl B. Rubin, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, from 1983 to 1985, at which time she became associated with the firm. Ms. Ringenbach provides counsel regarding cleanups, innovative environmental technologies, environmental management strategies, real estate transfers, mergers and acquisitions, and alternative dispute resolution. She also serves as counsel to trusts implementing remedial design/remedial actions at Superfund sites. She has served as chair, vice-chair, and secretary of the Environmental Law Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association. She co-chaired the 1994 Ohio Conference of Women Environmental Professionals and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Committee, as well as a member of the American Bar Association. Ms. Ringenbach is a Barrister Emeritus of the Potter Stewart American Inn of Court, and has co-authored articles that have been published in the Environmental Law Journal of Ohio and Federal Rules Decisions.
