Having completed his degree in economics and business administration at the Stockholm School of Economics, Lars worked as a financial analyst at SBC Warburg, after which he has pursued a successful career at Swedish Match. The foundation was laid at the head office in Stockholm, where Lars worked as a financial controller. Beginning in 1998, he worked in what was then the Lighter Division, first as head of finance and accounting at the Groups lighter production facility in the Philippines, then at the divisions head office in Assen, Netherlands. He was stationed in London for a year while working on a development project, and has been working since May 2002 with Group Finance on the executive level, primarily in the areas of business control and M&A issues. Lars was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Swedish Match in July, 2004. |
