Mr. Sørensen has served as a director since January 1996. Mr. Sørensen has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Novo Nordisk A/S since November 2000. From 1994 to November 2000, he was a member of Corporate Management at Novo Nordisk A/S. From 1989 to 1994, he served as President, International Operations of the Bioindustrial Group of Novo Nordisk A/S. Mr. Sørensen joined the Enzymes Marketing Department of Novo Nordisk A/S in 1982. He currently serves as director of Scandinavian Airlines System AB. Mr. Sørensen received a B.Sc. in International Economics from the Copenhagen Business School and an M.A. in Forestry from the Royal Danish Veterinary and Agricultural University. |
