Larry Tuntland began his lengthy and rewarding banking career in Las Vegas as a teller with first National Bank of America serving in numerous capacities and retiring as president and board member in 1996. Throughout his career, Larry has actively participated in numerous community and banking related interests. He has been a board member of Nevada Bankers Association; Past Chairman of the Nevada Community Reinvestment Corporation; Director of American Institution of Banking; and, Trustee for the prestigious Pacific Coast Banking School.
In recent years, Larry has been recognized many times for his commitment to the community, including recognition as Businessman of the Year from Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) and the Humanitarian of the Year by the Truckee Meadows Human Services Association.
Since retirement from banking, Tuntland continues to serve on numerous community boards, including Saint Mary’s, which he joined in 2006. |
