As senior vice president of business development for Mercury Payment Systems, Larry Stone steers the company’s industry-leading reseller-centric strategic initiatives. Joining Mercury in June, 2006, Stone leads the development of reseller relationships using Mercury’s unique technology and leading-edge product advantages. With high-level industry experience spanning more than 18 years, Stone brings insight and business management expertise to the executive formula fueling Mercury’s growth. He started out with Citicorp Card Acceptance Services in 1988. In 1992 he became chief executive officer of Card Payment Services, an Independent Sales Organization for United Jersey Bank, a position he held until 1996. Then, after six years as CEO of Card Payment Systems, a merchant payment processing company in New York City servicing more than 70,000 merchants and over 350 Independent Sales Organizations, he sold his company to Concord EFS, which is now a part of First Data Corporation. Stone holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. |
