Larry Schwartz is certified by the American Board of Radiology. He works at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where he holds the positions of Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Medical Director of Informatics and Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), and Associate Attending Radiologist. Additionally, Dr. Schwartz is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Cornell University Medical College in New York. He received his BA and his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Schwartz has authored over 100 peer reviewed articles, four book chapters and five software publications. Dr. Schwartz specializes in imaging of tumors of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. His research interests focus on therapeutic response assessment using conventional and novel techniques. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Robin C. Watson Award for Excellence in Radiological Teaching and the Boyer Award in Clinical Research, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He resides in New York City with his wife and daughter. |
