Larry Organ is an Internet marketing pioneer and innovator. Active in the direct marketing industry since 1986, Larry brings expertise in direct response, data aggregation, and sales management with a focus on direct-to-consumer marketing. In 1995, Larry started fastWEB, a student scholarship search website. Under his leadership, fastWEB, now a Monster.com company (NasdaqNM:MNST), quickly became the leading website of its kind. Larry aimed at the job market in 1999 and founded JobsOnline, taking on established career-services leaders such as Monster.com and HotJobs.com. Within months, JobsOnline surpassed the incumbents by attracting millions more unique visitors than any other employment website. JobsOnline, now part of Acxiom Corporation (NasdaqNM:ACXM), remains a Media Metrix Top 100 Internet company. In 2001 Larry launched email marketing company CustomOffers which he sold in 2002 to The Mosaic Group. The Mosaic Group filed for bankruptcy eleven months later. Larry reacquired the assets of the company he started and renamed the new entity ConsumerBase in 2003. |
